I AM THE VIKING FARMER
In 1864 my ancestors left Iceland on a pioneer journey in search of freedom and opportunity. Over the next 150 years, the family farm was passed down from father to son, instilling a tradition of hard work and strong family values.
Wanting to make my own opportunities, I also left my home in order to experience what the world has to offer. I got an education, moved to different countries, and learned new languages and cultures. I also reconnected with family in Iceland and was able to immerse myself in my family heritage, learn Icelandic, and make my ancestors proud.
My travels made me realize my true calling - keeping the family's tradition of farming alive and sharing my hay with the world. After five generations, the same journey of my ancestors has yet to come to an end because of our shared passion for farming.
ARTISAN QUALITY ALFALFA
As a fifth-generation farmer, I have put my heart and soul into perfecting my hay. I can't compete with large corporate farms in volume, but they will never be able to compete with my quality. All my hay was grown, fertilized, harvested, and packaged by me. That complete control of the process has allowed me to perfect the art of growing hay by consistently producing certified weed free, lab tested, and nutrient-rich alfalfa.
